Today’s Tuesday Thingers question is:
Why LT?
Why did you choose to open and maintain an LT account? Do you/did you use other online cataloging/social networking sites, like GoodReads or Shelfari? Do you use more than one? Are they different or do they serve different purposes?
I chose LT because I needed a place to keep track of all my books. Where I was in a series, if I liked the book so I could decide if I wanted to read more in the series, and most importantly to remind myself of books I've already read. I also just started using Shelfari. For me they serve the same purpose. An organized place to keep track of my books and forums to chat in with great people!

Do you find that you prefer LT or Shelfari for their cataloging style?
I like the shelves ability on Shelfari, but it takes so darn long to load, and my internet isn't exactly slow. I think it's too image heavy, even if it has neat features. (Or maybe I'm just too loyal to LT to give it a true chance, maybe? ;) )
