So I've decided to try something new and I hope you'll join me;) Every Friday I'm going to post my "Friday Favorites". Each week it might be something different. It could be your favorite author (new or old), your favorite genre, your favorite character or your favorite series. There are many possibilities!
This week I'm going to start off by with my favorite cozy series. Surprisingly I'm relatively new to the cozy genre. Of course that didn't stop me from jumping right in. When I joined PBS a friend introduced me to my first cozy and I've been hooked every since. It was a good thing to as I felt I was running out of books to read. Now I have thousands to choose from.
One of the very first series I started was the Gourmet Girls series by Jessica Conant-Park & SusanConant. It is my absolute favorite. The books feature Chloe Carter ~ grad student and lover of all things food. From the first book ~ Steamed to the latest ~ Fed Up, we follow Chloe as she goes to school, falls in love (stays in love?), has a fantastic best friend and seems to stumble on one murder after another. A fantastic mix of humor, romance & mystery. (And the authors are fantastic too!) If you haven't checked this series out yet, I hope you will.
