Teaser Tuesday

It’s that time of week again, everyone, and time for the Tuesday Teaser.
Again the reminder of what this is all about. We are asked to:
  1. Grab your current read.
  2. Let the book fall open to a random page.
  3. Share two teaser sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  4. Share the title of the book that the “teaser” comes from, so people can find the book if they like the teaser.
  5. And again remember – avoid spoilers.
Here's mine ~

Trace supposed she was in shock, because for a moment she didn't move, and when he tilted his head down to explain to her why he grabbed her, she lifted her head up at the exact same moment. Their lips brushed ever so lightly, but Trace's body reacted instantly.

This teaser comes from He's No Prince Charming (Signet Eclipse) by LuAnn McLane. What's YOUR teaser?

Well, THAT's a pick me up! How fun for a Tuesday when I'm flagging badly because of a cold.

I'm reading both a mystery and a non-fiction book (almost finished with the non-fiction -- so interesting!) That book is What you Don't Know You Know and explores our unconscious (and subconscious) and how it affects so much of our lives.

Here's the Teaser: [[The male student who told his girlfriend, “Don't consider this an erection on my part,” meant to reassure her that he did not intend a rejection, but, just as clearly, something else was on his mind. While many slips of the tongue can be explained as mere verbal accidents, others clearly seem to have meaning.]]
