This is book two in the Prison Break series. Joanna Sutton has moved home to be with her sister and grandfather in the mountains after having lost her husband and son to murder 4 years earlier. She is struggling to admit her love for the county Sheriff, Tyler, for fear it will mean she has "forgotten" her husband and child. Meanwhile, three of the escaped convicts are heading toward Jo. One of which feels that Jo belongs to him and is the love of his life - also thinking the feeling is mutual. He loves Jo so much that he's even killed the man who took her family away from her. What ensues is a hunt through blizzard like conditions to stop this madman (and his partner) from killing more people, especially Tyler and Jo. How are they going to stop this psychopath?? Ms Brennan has the knack for pulling you in from page one and keeps you turning the pages well into the night, until you finish. In the midst of death, desperation and secrets being told - new love is found! A
