Traveling Through Tuesday

Do you like to read books that set in a certain city, state, or country? Do you ever find a town in a book that just calls your name and you can't wait to tell someone about it? Well Traveling Through Tuesday is a weekly event where we spotlight the location of the book we are currently reading!

I'm about halfway through The Panic Zone by Rick Mofina and can't wait to finish it. Talk about taking you on a trip around the world! We start off in Wyoming where Emma, Joe and their son Tyler are headed for a picnic when oncoming car swerves in front of them, causing them to crash and killing Joe & Tyler. Or did they? We are then on our way to Brazil where reporter Jack Gannon goes to cover the cafe bombing where two of his WPA associates are killed among others. Was it a drug related bombing or a way to get rid of an informant the reporters were going to meet? And what does a "mad" scientist, a young child and a cruise ship returning from a south Caribbean cruise have in common? And could it be possible that all THREE of these events are related? From the mean streets of Brazil's favela neighborhoods to the tranquil life in Wyoming to Lybia, Africa, China, London and more, the Panic Zone is a book that will take you to just about any destination you want!

Make sure to click here, sign MckLinky, grab the button and join us for a trip around the world. Maybe you'll find your next vacation destination!

Where is your book taking YOU this week?

Lori, are you going to do a new MckLinky every week? Or should I just re-sign the first one? In any case, here is my TTT!
